The Planmeca ProMax 3D Mid panoramic and 3D cone beam system includes traditional 2D panorex images. Programs include: standard, pediatric, lateral double TMJ, PA double TMJ, PA rotational sinus. Add optional advanced programs such as: horizontal segmenting, orthogonal, interproximal angulation, bitewings, lateral-PA double TMJ, PA multi-angle TMJ, lateral multi-angle TMJ, non-rotational sinus, and more.

For a more convenient alternative to traditional bitewing scans, some Planmeca ProMax cone beam X-rays include the extraoral bitewing program to replace conventional intraoral bitewing radiographs.

The Planmeca ProMax 3D Mid offers an optional high-definition mode with a resolution up to 0.075 mm voxel, ideal for capturing precise anatomical details for unparalleled diagnostic accuracy.

While dental cone beam images are acquired and manipulated in Romexis, 2D panorex X-rays can be integrated via a TWAIN interface with almost any leading imaging software. Compatible programs include Schick, Dexis, Carestream, VIXWIN, Apteryx, Eaglesoft, XDR and Dolphin.

This digital dental X-ray machine features two specially designed modes (Child & Adolescent) for panoramic and 3D programs. These pedo-friendly options reduce exposure area and minimize patient.

The Planmeca ProMax 3D Mid features the SCARA (Selectively Compliant Articulated Robot Arm) technology, to deliver the most precise and complex movements required for rotational maxillofacial digital dental imaging.

Some Planmeca ProMax 3D Mid models include an Ultra Low Dose 3D imaging protocol that captures dental cone beam scans with less radiation than traditional 2D panorex X-rays.

With the added ceph X-ray arm, this unit can capture up to four 2D cephalometric views up to 30 x 27 cm for fast and accurate orthodontic records.

The adjustable Planmeca ProMax 3D Mid easily accommodates wheelchair patients as well as those with other disabilities.
